In the Shamanic perspective, Soul Loss is understood as the result of an inner fragmentation caused by a traumatic experience or an intense shock to the mind and/or body. Part of the life force or essence disconnects from the body in an effort to preserve itself in the face of a situation that is too much to bear. This is why after a traumatic event (sudden or on-going) people feel lost, confused and/or disoriented.

Our healing work is going through the layers of illusions and outdated beliefs ingrained within from those experiences. To bring light (truth) back into the spaces where fear ran the programming in the subconscious realms. This is why soul retrieval is such a powerful practice. To go within to find those old stories, personas, and beliefs that are blocking the light of our essence selves. If you've ever felt there's something wrong with you, you just don't what - or even if you do but don't know how to remedy it - this is where this work comes in. 

It's a deep process that takes practice and requires support. And it can be done any time, any place. In group work, we are coming together to create a sacred container unique to the moment, that can never be recreated in the same exact way again. Each of us is working on our own stuff, but the shared intention to heal amplifies the experience and potential for each of us.
